Note
A diary of Jacob Epp, 1820-1890, details his work as a church leader in Nowowitebsk from 1860 to 1880. It also described agricultural cycles, climactic changes and details of village and church life.
The diary was transcribed from the Gothic script by Katharine Hooge, Saskatoon. 25 pages. The German, handwritten version is 41 pages.
Harvey L. Dyck based his book "A Mennonite in Russia: the Diaries of Jacob D. Epp" on these diaries.
