This is a photograph of the Brotherfield Mennonite Brethren Church in Saskatchewan (Herbert Kreis, Rosthern Kreis, and Manitoba Kreis). According to H.A. Willms, the larger (northern section was built in spring of 1911, and the southern portion in the fall of 1901. Two very small structures stand very close to the church building. The buildings appear to be located on an open field A group of people, apparently dressed for a church service, socialize between the church building and the small structures. A lone buggy is parked beside a bush at the lower left hand side of the photograph.

Peter Driedger b. 1882 was born to Johann and Katharina Driedger in Blumenfeld, Manitoba. He moved alone to Clarks Crossing and took out a homestead east of Warman in 1902. He met Helena Schmidt and they married in 1904. They bought a farm a few years later a quarter mile east of Osler. This photo is of Peter and Helena Driedger with their first two sons John (left) and Jacob (right).
