While the China & Southeast Asia Conference was in session at the Church Centre, demonstrators marched in front of the nearby US Mission to the UN, protesting American military action in Southeast Asia. One sign reads: "Withdraw US troops from Vietnam Now!;" another: "Free elections for Vietnam 1954 Geneva Declaration.' Related to 2001-14.296-298.
