A Yavapai boy learns carpentry at a Save the Children Federation summer work camp. He helped to remodel an old building into a community centre for the reservation. Used in CM 15-24-5.

Four generations on the Beardy reserve in Duck Lake, Sask. Taken outdoors, the great-grandfather sits and holds his great-grandson, who is about two years old. His daughter and granddaughter stand behind him. See also 1994-14.2142 and 2143.

Three negs., not used in the CM, taken at the Krimmer Mennonite Brethren mission station El Encuentro. Some information is on the enclosed note. One neg. is described as: "Farewell 'banquet' under the mango tree. The Indians preferred sitting in a huddle flat on the ground while they ate." The other 2 negs. show houses at Tourna-Vista, one built by R. G. LeTourneau for jungle living, the other a Peruvian workman's home - well above average in construction. Used in CM 4-42-4. The 4 children of a Peruvian Christian family. Used with the last of Margaret A. Epp's articles about the work of the Krimmer Mennonite Brethren missionaries in Peru, where her sister Matty, wife of Slyvester Dirks lived and worked with her husband at the El Encuentro mission station. This article series begins in 2010-14.401.

Used in CM 18-21-1. Students from WLU, School of Religion are digging on a farmstead in Waterloo county "in an effort to unearth an old Neutral Indian village." The farm, near Blair was owned at the time by Blake Moyer.

Group of children at Christmas time. The children of the Otto Hamms may be part of the group; this would mean this was at Cross Lake. It could also be at Pauingassi in the school house See CM 7-16-5; 7-16-7.
