Four generations on the Beardy reserve

Four generations on the Beardy reserve in Duck Lake, Sask. Taken outdoors, the great-grandfather sits and holds his great-grandson, who is about two years old. His daughter and granddaughter stand behind him. See also 1994-14.2142 and 2143.

Krimmer Mennonite Brethren mission station El Encuentro, Peru

Three negs., not used in the CM, taken at the Krimmer Mennonite Brethren mission station El Encuentro. Some information is on the enclosed note. One neg. is described as: "Farewell 'banquet' under the mango tree. The Indians preferred sitting in a huddle flat on the ground while they ate." The other 2 negs. show houses at Tourna-Vista, one built by R. G. LeTourneau for jungle living, the other a Peruvian workman's home - well above average in construction.
