1) An old letter dated 11 April 1805 transcribed from the Archive of the Danzig Mennonite Church and published in Der Bote, 5 Jan. 1938. Written by Jakob Wiens to Johan Kauenhowen. The letter references Klaas E. Reimer, founder of the Mennonite Kleine Gemeinde.
2) "Kleine Chronik der Mennoniten an der Molotschna seit ihrer Ansiedlung bis in mein 80. Jahr" by Abraham Braun, Grossweide, Molotschnan and published in Mennonitisches Jahrbuch 1907. About early Molotschna Colony settlement.
