Dated Feb. 24, 1956. Paul is holding their son (possibly 3 years old) on his lap & Lois is holding their daughter who is under a year. By June 1956 he had been appointed GC missionary to India. See CM 4-24-5.
Dated April 6, 1956. Their farewell. Paul & Lois are sitting to the right in the front of the photo each holding one of their 2 children. Eleven other people are sitting in rows with them and look happy.
Used in CM 10-32-8 with his article on the Mennonite World Cf. in Kitchener, Ont. The picture is dated May 27, 1955. In 1956 he was appointed GC missionary to India. In 1970 he was pastor in Altona. See CM 18-38-3; 18-42-3.
Used in part in CM 15-46-10 when she was about to leave for India & her 3rd term with the MB board of India. She is shown at a desk with an open Bible & the book Living Letters. She worked in radio evangelism in India.
