This is a photo of Sara Dyck (Willms), Wally (Walfried) Dyck and Isaak Dyck. Sara and Isaak are sitting on chairs, Wally standing between them, with flowers, trees and a fence behind them. This is a photograph of a well dressed couple seated on a bench in the garden. The couple is Hans and Maria Kolm or Kohn (?), the surname is not decipherable. He is wearing a tie and a three piece suit. She is wearing a dark dress with lace sleeves that are slit from the shoulder to her cuff. Her hair is braided and pinned up by her ears. This does not appear to be in Russia.

Early spring in Manitoba

A photo of the Voth and Klassen mothers and families, sitting outside in the yard of a farm house in Rivers, Manitoba. During the first years, these newly immigrated families worked as hired labour for various farmers in the area of Rivers and Marquette.
