Old Folks home, "Kuruschan"

This is a photo of the Old Folks Home, "Kuruschan." It was built to commemorate the founding of the Molotschna settlement and had room for fifty guests. It was financed and maintained by the Halbstadt municipality. [HR 114]. The man in the front of the home is the administrator Franz Willms.

Ministers' course in Molotschna

This is a photo of a ministers course in the Molotschna in winter 1925/26. Participants were from the various Mennonite settlements. People were willing to spend time and money for this purpose. In charge are Isaak Regehr, teacher and minister of the Mennonite Brethren church and H.J. Enns. Among the participants is Jakob Pankratz, Sagradowka, sitting second from the right. [HR 213]
