Personal papers of long-time Mennonite Central Committee workers best known for their work to resettle Mennonite refugees after World War II.  These papers are divided into two series:

(1) Correspondence and Subject Files, 1939-2010

(2) Sound Recordings, 1984-1985

These records are divided into three series:  Early Records, 1977-1983, 1991; Editorial Council Minutes, 1977-2003; and Correspondence, 1983-2004.

The collection includes biographical information, trip diaries, presentation notes, and sermon materials of Paul M. and Ann Keener Gingrich.  The Gingerichs served as missionaries in Ethiopia, and Paul Gingerich later provided leadership for the Mennonite Board of Missions.

Personal papers of a Mennonite pastor and church planter who worked primarily in the development of African American Mennonite congregations.

Personal papers of a Mennonite pastor and youth leader who was received into the Catholic Church in 2005.  An innovator in the Mennonite tradition, Herr and his wife, Mary, led the (old) Mennonite Church's Mennonite Youth Fellowship, developed a Volunraey Service discipleship program in Phoenix, Arizona, and founded the Hermitage, a spiritual retreat center in Three Rivers, Michigan.  Materials in this set of papers document Herr's work in all three of these programs / institutions.  Researchers will also find in this collection a number of articles, sermons, and papers by Herr, information on the 1961 meeting of Mennonite leaders with Billy Graham, and records pertaining to Herr's pastorates at Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church (Harper, Kansas) and College Mennonite Church (Goshen, Indiana).

These papers include Mildred Schrock Mumaw's 6 page memoir, funeral service programs for Mildred, Ralph, and R. Wayne Mumow, obituaries of R. Wayne Mimow, and a family group photograph that includes MIldred Mumaw as a child.

These records consist of bulletins (1984-2008), church council and congregational minutes and supporting documentation (interfiled, 1978-2001), reports (1986-2001) and other miscellaneous records of a Hispanic Mennonite congregation in Goshen, Indiana.

Personal papers documenting debates in the Mennonite Church regarding the position of  homosexuals in congregations and ministry.  Includes personal and professional correspondence and records pertaining to the Welcome Committee, Connecting Families, and other Anabaptist and Christian organizations supporting the inclusion of gays and lesbians in Christian communities.

Materials pertaining to various workshops, training opportunities, and meetings sponsored by Mennonite Women USA.  At this time, this series only contains information regarding the PREP (Preparing, Resourcing, Encouraging, Praising) meeting for Mennonite Women USA conference leaders.

These records consist of the documents of church governance (trustee and church council), membership lists, directories, documents pertaining to various fellowship groups and ministries, and an unpublished account of the congregation's early history.  Also included are selected church bulletins, documents regarding the renaming and relocation of the congregation,  and miscellaneous congregational records.

Scattered records contributed by various individuals and organizations documenting both the Mennonite Orphans' Home and its successor, the Adriel School.  Materials include dedication and anniversary correspondence, fragmented correspondence, an oversize reproduction of a 1913 photograph, and scattered reports and newsletters.  Also included are two DVDs:  The Adriel School (2010) and The Mennonite Orphants' [sic] Home (2010).

Records of the Hispanic constituancy group of Mennonite Church USA.  Include constitutions, directories, and records of the organization's general board and executive committee.  Also includes booklet from the first assembly. Records are primarily in Spanish.
