While enroute to and from council meetings in Bluffton, Ohio, a number of Canadians met Dec. 6 for food and fellowship at a Mennonite Biblical Seminary apartment building. Used in CM 9-34-12. Enlargement also, 17x11 cm. Youth Conference of the Ontario Mennonite Brethren churches held at Eden Christian College, Niagara-on-the-Lake. Mr. & Mrs. Abram A. Olfert at their 25th anniversary

In the CM 3-31-5 a small photo was used of the Abram A. Olferts at their 25th (silver wedding) anniversary. (In the CM Mr. Olfert is referred to as Abram and on the back of the photos is written A. A. Olferts.) In this smaller photo Mrs. Olfert is wearing a tiara-like head piece and Mr. Olfert wears some myrtle with a white ribbon in the lapel of his suit jacket. A 2nd photo (12.5x11) does not show the Olferts as well - they are seated at the head table - but shows their 3 sons, their married daughter (Mrs. Jake Redekop) and likely their son-in-law.

celebration of Rev. and Mrs. G. G. Epp's 40 years of service

Three photos from the celebration of Rev. and Mrs. Epp's 40 years of service (he was ordained in 1923). At the close of the program in the church, the Epps were presented with the keys to a new car. The photo of the Epps standing in front of the car was used in the CM 11-30-11. In one of the additional photos, a man greets them in front of the car, likely Gerhard Dueck who gave them the keys. In the third photo the Epps are seated below the church pulpit in front of the flowers decorating the front of the church.
