J.N. Hoeppner correspondence

This series of material contains considerable missions correspondence generated by Reverend J.N. Hoeppner, minister of the Bergthaler Mennonite church of Manitoba. He served on many committees such as the Canadian Conference Home Mission Committee, Mennonite Pioneer Mission, Board of Colonization, Manitoba Youth Organization and various music committees. CMC Native Ministries Photograph Collection

  • CA MHC 721
  • Collection
  • [194-? to 2009]

These images were compiled by Mennonite Pioneer Mission and Native Ministries staff. They cover over sixty years of Mennonite-Indigenous relations and history, predominantly in Manitoba. Images of staff and those in the communities where they served make up the majority of the content. The images document life in the communities where the mission stations were situated and community-related events that include, but are not limited to, trips, camp outings, meetings, and conferences. The collection therefore gives a visual overview of MPM and Native Ministries related activity over time.
