A set of family papers documenting the lives of Charles L. Shank, his first wife, Crissie Yoder Shank, his second wife, Lydia F. Shenk Shank, the Shank children, Lydia Shank's sister and brother-in-law (Lillie and James Norman Kaufman), and other assorted Shank family members.  Materials include incoming correspondence documenting Mennonite missionary work, photographs, school materials, circle letters circulated among the Shank's children, articles and other writings of Lydia Shank, collected prayers of  international Christian women in the 1950s, a number of sound recordings of funerals and memorial services, and other miscellaneous family materials.

Simon Gingerich Papers

This small set of personal papers consists primarily of sermons sermon notes.  Other materials include photographs of Gingerich and his wife, Lena Schlatter Gingerich, reports and ephemera pertaining to his service to the Mennonite Church, an account of the treatment of Mennonites in Iowa during World War I, family correspondence (in German), and audiocassettes of the service commemorating the 60th anniversary of his ordination.

Begun in January 2001, the Mennonite Women of Color Oral History Project aims to gather and publish faith and life stories of older women of color across the Mennonite Church in North America and worldwide. This collection consists of oral history interviews conducted with Mennonite women from North America, Africa, Asia, Central America, and South America.

Administrative records of a camp facility established by the Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp Association and later administered by the Mennonite Board of Missions. Frontier Boys Village provided a long-term rehabilitation program for adolescent boys completing the requirements of Colorado's juvenile justice system. Records include board meeting minutes, correspondence, financial and development records, policy documents, publicity materials, scrapbooks, and photographs.

Rachel S. Fisher Papers

Papers of a Mennonite women who began her career as a secretary in Mennonite organizations and transitioned into ministry in the 1970s and 1980s.  Fisher served on the pastoral team of College Mennonite Church (Goshen, Ind.) and as an overseer of Waterford Mennonite Church (Goshen, Ind.).  Her papers include correspondence, sermons and presentations, worship materials, photographs, audiotapes of sermons preached at College Mennonite Church, and miscellaneous materials.

Reflections of Elderly Mennonites Tape Collection

24 cassette tapes containing interviews with 24 elderly Mennonites, most of whom lived in northern Indiana or were prominent in the broader Mennonite community: Abram Hallman, Ruth (Mast) Roth, Irene Witmer, Noah Good, Martha (Eby) Yake, Tilman Smith, Paul Mininger, Mary (Erb) Mininger, Ollie (Shank) Grabill, A.J. Metzler, Lester Hostetler, John Mosemann, Ruth (Histand) Mosemann, Sanford Eash, Orpha (Kauffman) Eash, Elizabeth (Horsch) Bender, Minnie (Swartzendruber) Graber, J.C. Wenger, Howard Yoder, Laura (Weaver) Troyer, Nora (Miller) Kauffman, Nelson Litwiller, Milo Kauffman, and Irene (Lehman) Weaver. Dwight E. Roth, a professor of sociology at Hesston College, interviewed all of the subjects. Transcripts of the interviews are not available. Roth analyzed and reflected upon these interviews in his self-published book, Reflections of Elderly Mennonites [Hesston, Kan.] : [Roth], 1982. Also contains two floppy disks with chapter drafts from this book.

This collection documents the activities of members of the Civilian Public Service (CPS) Camp #58 in Farnhurst, Delaware from 1942 through 1946. Camp reunion files give insight into how the CPS experience affected the lives of those who served. Included are D. Paul Miller's personal scrapbook during his time of service, materials related to the camp's softball team (the Red Comb Arrows), The Crusaders Quartet, and later circle letters and reunion documents.
