Used in CM 10-35-7. A school girl from Hong Kong or Indonesia. Her photo was used with a notice re. the need for sponsors of 300 school children in Hong Kong & Indonesia. The notice was pub. by MCC, Kitchener, Ont.

A series of mat negatives, produced on carboard and labelled "special relief cuts" (ie more like a woodcut). Numbers 2 to 6 were used in the 1956 vol. of the CM as follows: #2 "Child of Neglect" in 4-45-2; #3 "Child of flight" in 4-46-2; #4 "Child of despair" in 4-47-2; #5 "Child of want' in 4-48-2; "Child of hope" in 49-4-2. For 1 of the "cuts" which shows a young boy, perhaps in an Asian country, there is no label or indication of when it was used.

Used in CM18-6-4. A variety of African musical instruments are displayed on a mat outside. They include a drum, a hawsaw & xylophone. They were used in worship in African churches.
