Nursing graduates of the Mennonite Christian Hospital
Used in CM 11-9-3. Three Canadian missionary nurses: Lena Peters of Winnipegosis; Helen Wilms of Coaldale, Alberta; Sue Martens, Eyebrow, Sask., stand in the centre with 10 Christian nursing graduates of the Mennonite Christian Hospital. Two of the young women belonged to the Mennonite Church, 7 were from mountain tribes and 3 were Taiwanese.

Used in the CM 6-31-1. The south wing of the Mennonite missionary hospital (Mennonite Christian Hospital) at Hualien, Taiwan (Formosa) after suffering extensive damage in a disastrous typhoon. Part of the cement wall (fence) was down too (note on back of photo). Also used in the CM 6-31-5, with article by Helen Wilms, R.N., who likely wrote on the back of the photo: "The nurses' house (our house) being repaired."
