Mennonite Church - Peace River Area - Wembley, AB

Mennonite church on the former Adair Ranch at Wembley, Alberta, along the Northern Alberta Railway line from Edmonton to Dawson Creek. This congregation was part of the Hoffnungsfeld Mennonite Church, which had meetinghouses in Wembley, Beaverlodge, and Lymburn. In the early years both Mennonite Brethren and General Conference Mennonites often worshipped together until each had sufficient resources to build their own meetinghouses.
