At the point where the slanted roof lines begin, a cross is mounted and projects above the roof. One low roofed house is partially seen to the right of the church beyond the fence. The Mennonite Christian Literature Centre in Hualien, Taiwan, which was the centre of Mennonite missions. It was located in a row of buildings (perhaps commercial). A man and a woman stand in front of the centre, perhaps the managers of it. Many bikes are parked in front of the buildings. It is dated March 5. 1966. Taken on Frank H. Epp's Asian Tour. Used in the CM 14-15-7. The Middle School built at Hualien, Taiwan with the help of US aid, receives children whose parents can afford to pay tuition from Taiwanese and tribes people in the area. It is a 3 storey building. Taken on Frank H. Epp's Asian Tour.
