This photograph shows a group of people gathered presumedly at the gravesite of David Toews, taken at the 50th Anniversary of the arrival of the Mennonites in Canada. The speaker is believed to be Mr. Regier.

Mr. Barkman is sitting on a chair outside beside the framed house, near a window. He is wearing a dark suit and vest, white shirt and a tie. Mr. Barkman was born 8 Sep 1862 Rueckenau, Molotschna d. 6 May 1945 in Beatrice, Nebraska. He was married 28 June 1884. His children were Peter, Elizabeth, Margaret and Agnes.

Mrs. Ketler is lying in a coffin outside A number of wreaths are attached to the coffin and there is snow on the ground.The family is standing behind the coffin and her mother Anna (Sawatzky) (b. 31 Jan 1849) Epp is seated behind the coffin. Aganetha's father was Kornelius Epp b. 1847 in Rosenthal.

Cornelius is wearing a dark 3-piece suit and a checked shirt. Mrs. Rempel is wearing a dark dress and a lacy cap (Haube) tied in a bow. The children are wearing dark dresses with lacy white collars.
