This is a casual/formal shot. Nice clarity. Also showing is a piece of a house in the background, some fences and sky. Envelope says "Ladies and Gents, No. 13."

Seven men in suits and hats; from left to right in the back row are, Henry Dueck, John Loewen, Thomas Sawatzky, Henry Loewen and an unidentified man with a moustache, in front sitting on the bench are Jacob Funk and Died Loewen. Three have flowers or foliage pinned to lapels. Envelope says "Hired Men in Neubergthal 1911 No.24." This is the same group, time and place as 10.3.

Peter F. and Helena Hamm. He sits on chair with leg crossed flat. She has ribbon and frills on dress and buffont hair. Looks like 1910s or 20s. Some negative damage (debris on emulsion). Envelope says "P.F. Hamm and Bride, Second Time No. 21."

This photo shows the deceased child Helena Bergen (13 Oct 1913-25 Nov 1914), daughter of Abram P. and Katharina (Hildebrand) Bergen, in a coffin with sisters Maria (b. 1910) , on the left, and Katharina (b. 1908), with long wavey hair standing beside. Four women are also standing around the room. Fancy cabinet, door, linoleum and doorways show. Women are in buffont hair. Note: According to Peter Bergen of Winnipeg, Maria (widow of Peter P. Loeppky) was still living in January 2006.

Dear Conrad,
I was recently given the book"Mennonite Women in Canada:A History" The picture on the cover is from the Peter G Hamm collection. At a cousin reunion some of the ladies recognized most of those young women. This negative is in Tray 13 No.2
They are : standing l-r Suanna Kehler, Anna Kehler, Anna Hildebrand, Helena Hildebrand, Helena Kehler, Maria Wiebe, ?.
Seated:l-r ?, ? ,Helena Kehler, ?, Sara Kehler, Gertrude Wiebe
