Used in CM 7-14-1. The Mennonite Children's Choir, shown with dir. Helen Litz at the Man. Music festival. The choir has 30 members, age 8-16 years. In back row are some of the older members: Eleanor Baerg, 2nd from right, Erica Loewen, 3 to left from her, Irmgard Redekop, blond with glasses.

Not used in the CM. See article in CM 1-2-1 and related photos in 1992-14.3656 and 2010-14.47. Two similar photos (including negs.) of the Gnadenthal Youth Group at a choir practice. They are seated in the church benches singing. The choir which sang at the Blumenort Church Youth Festival? Written on the back of one of the photos is: " 'Ebenezer' youth group at a choir practice." (" 'Ebenezer' Jugendgruppe bei einer Choruebung.") They were part of the Blumenorter Mennonite Youth Group. The photo was used in "Jugendseite," the youth section of Der Bote.

Used in CM 15-18-6 Mennonite Ladies Chorus of Wpg. The women are all dressed alike. A number of them were from the Portage MB Church, front, l-r: ??, Schreier, Helen Wiens, Helen Epp, ? Kasdorf, Elona Schrier Schellenberg? leader, ??, ?? Klassen? From the Elmwood MB Church? : Hertha Janzen, 2nd from l.; Elizabeth DeFehr, far right.

Used in CM 13-24-3. Seven students (at front on the platform) graduated from WMC. Ceremonies were held at First Mennonitechurch, Wpg. The school choir, on the platform, performed.

Used in CM 18-11-8. Choir in a performance of Hayden's "Creation." Henry Peters was the conductor. Soloists, seated in front of choir, were: Esther Klassen, Peter Koslowsky & William Thiessen. Top of photo has rounded edges.

Used in CM 4-27-4. Choir trip of Altona Bergthaler Church mixed choir, led by Frank E. Dueck. Taken in front of the church in Altona? They stand in front of the bus of Thiessen Transportation Ltd.

Used in CM 9-46-16. The Junior Choir of Sharon Mennonite Collegiate in Yarrow is directed by Miss Linda Falk (at left). The majority of the members are young boys.

Negative also. Used in the CM 9-45-1. Senior choir of the SMC, Yarrow, B.C., supported by the MB Church there. At the extreme left is the conductor, Rudy Boschman. Second copy of photo measures 16x11. See 9-46-16 re. Jr. choir.

Used in CM 1-5-1. The Mennonite Symphony Orchestra & 4 MB choirs pose on stage at the Wpg. Civic Auditorium where they gave a musical program under the direction of Ben Horch, seated at left behind the piano.
