Two photos (both the same size) from the conference sponsored by the Board of Missions and Charities of the (Old) Mennonite Church (the 50th annual meeting). In the photo used in the CM 4-25-1, Mary Burkhard addresses the conference from behind the pulpit. She and her husband were the first missionaries to go out under the program of the Mennonite church, going to India in 1900. Seated on the platform behind her are: (l-r) J. B. Martin (vice-pres of the board), J. D. Graber, P.A. Friesen. In the 2nd photo (not used in the CM) a male quartet sings at the conference.
