This is a photo of students from the school for girls at Halbstadt. Sitting at the right in the white blouse is Margarethe Kroeker, now Winnipeg. At the bottom to the right is Mariechen Dyck who was later an instructress in the High School; she came to Paraguay where she, like all women, had to work very hard. Others had a similar fate.
