Administrative history

Founded in 1944 by the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches as the first Mennonite Bible college in Canada. Concord College was established in 1992 as a successor to MBBC. In 2000 Concord College became a part of the Canadian Mennonite University and moved to the CMU campus on Shaftesbury Boulevard.

This photo is of MBBC staff member, Bill Baerg (left), and students helping to prepared BBQ meal. This photograph was taken at a BBQ at Mennonite Brethren Bible College for (150) forest fire evacuees from native communities in Northern Manitoba in August, 1989.
