Jacob I. Regehr (1897-1989) was born in Kleefeld, Southern Russia. He was both a student and a teacher at the Alexanderkrone Zentraschule in Russia. After emigrating to Canada, he attended high school and university and taught school in Saskatchewan and Alberta. J.I. Regehr retired to Clearbrook, British Colombia where he passed away in 1989.
