Maria (Fast) Peters and her grandchildren

This portrait is taken at the Bergthal Estate on the occasion of Lydia Peters's marriage to David Boschmann. The mother of the bride, Maria (Fast) Peters, is at the center of the photo (approximate age, 66). The Bergthal Estate was purchased in 1877 by Franz Gerhard Peters, Maria Peters's husband, who had already passed away at the time of Lydia's wedding.

In addition to these notes, Patricia Stabler Peters provided the names of those in the photo based on information from Gerhard I. Peters's memoir, "He leadeth me in right paths" (1994), 58B.
