This is a photo of a larger ship fastened to the dock. The name of the ship is shown, probably Albatross. No people in view. This photo was included in the Novorossiysk envelope. Arthur Slagel and A. J. Miller travelled to this seaport on the Albatross in April 1921 in an attempt to enter Russia. The trip was unsuccessful and they had to return to Constantinople.

This is a photo of five men on board a ship watching the geese and chickens trotting about. The man on the left, wearing a hat, could be Arthur Slagel.
