This is a copy of the church family register page from the Chortitza Mennonite Church in Rosenthal (Chortitza) dated March 11, 1922, showing the ten children born to Johann and Susanna Funk (nee Susanna Peters). It is signed by Minister Peter Penner.

This is a copy of Anna Funk's certificate of service with the American Mennonite Relief Administration in Rosenthal (Chortitza). She is designated as "Hochfrau" (i.e., woman in charge) of the relief kitchen. The text is written in German and in Russian, stamped, signed, and dated May 4, 1922.

This is the other half of the map, showing the northern half of Rosenthal. The border between the adjacent villages of Rosenthal and Chortitza is visible at the top right. Both villages were within the larger Chortitza Mennonite Colony on the Dnieper River in Ukraine.

This is a copy of the ordination certificate issued to Jacob J. Funk attesting to his designation as Evangelist and Deacon in the Rosenthal Evangelical Mennonite Allianz Church. It is dated December 19, 1920.

This photo is of the Johan Bartsch monument and headstone in Rosental Colony, south Russia. Bartsch was one of the delegates sent to south Russia to secure land for Mennonites in the 18th century.
