Biographical history

Regina Becker was born near Weatherford, Oklahoma. She moved with her family to Kern County, California, in 1909, as part of the ill-fated Martensdale settlement. In addition to her work as a mother and homemaker, Becker devoted considerable time to genealogical research and the translation of German documents.
