It could be that as much as half of the original photo is missing. The annotation of the reverse side consist of a fragment of text. The writer is describing the photo. For example, the person with the red cross is the doctor, the man with marked by the vertical line in a Mr. Berg, and the others are also commented on, but sp much text is missing, making it difficult to understand. -- AHR
