Building a play area in Ramallah

This photo is of two men at work building a play area for children in Ramallah. One man is piling up some sand/dirt and the other is getting ready to pour something onto the pile. There is low stone wall behind the men and behind that are some trees and buildings. A set of swings is on the right side of the photo.

Liselotte Geiger and a number of children of the community

No. 17 in a 2nd set of numbered photos from the 6th Mennonite World Conference held in 1957 in Karlsruhe, Germany. The photo is somewhat fragmented around the edges but clearly shows Liselotte Geiger and a number of children of the community (on a play structure) whom she cared for daily. Likely the photo was taken behind the Mennonite Central Committee "Mennoniten Haus" (Mennonite Home) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. See 2010-14.480.
