The Peace Mennonite Church was founded in 1980 in Richmond, B.C. It was founded following the dissolving of the Prince of Peace Mennonite Church (Richmond, B.C.) in 1978. Some members from Sherbrooke Mennonite Church and remaining members from the Prince of Peace Mennonite Church formed the core of Peace Mennonite Church in 1980.
