Orphanage at Grossweide

This is a photo of the orphanage at Grossweide. It was established in 1906 by Mr. And Mrs Abraham Harder. They invested all their property and gave their labour to this act of faith. The necessary funds for maintaining the institution came from voluntary donations and they came generously. The orphanage had its own school where 27 children attended in 1910. [HR 122]
