Archivist's note

Cornelius Unruh's older brother, Heinrich H. Unruh and his wife were sent to India by the M.B. Church in Spat, Crimea in 1899 after graduating from a seminary in Hamburg, Germany. Cornelius in his wife were also sent by the same congregation after he completed his studies and had married Martha Woltnan (See P.M. Friesen, p. 555.) By 1912 Cornelius and Martha were back in Germany where their sons C.C. and Heinrich were born. -- AHR
