The Mennonite Brethren Herald was formed in 1962 as the official English language publication of the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. Over time it has moved from a weekly to its current format of monthly. Each Canadian church member is entitled to a free subscription to the paper. The editors have been Rudy Wiebe (1962–1963), Harold Jantz (1964–1985), Herb Kopp (1985–1988), Ron Geddert (1989–1994), Jim Coggins (1995–2003), Susan Brandt (2003–2005), Laura Kalmar (2005–2015), and Karla Braun (2016–2019). In 2019, the CCMBC executive decided to discontinue the print version of the MB Herald. The last issue was mailed to subscribers in January 2020.
