Biographical history

Born 7 November 1918, Adams County, Indiana. Parents Clinton Soldner and Gertrude Lehman Soldner. Baptized June 1932, First Mennonite Church, Berne, Indiana. Graduated from Monroe, Indiana, High School.

Graduated from Bethel Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, Newton, Kansas, 1942. Then was employed at Bluffton, Ohio, Community Hospital. Went to Colombia as one of the first General Conference Mennonite missionaries. Arrived 20 September 1945 in Medellin.

Left Colombia in 1970.

Served in Mexico 1972-1975.

Married Tillman Nussbaum 14 February 1976. He was a United Methodist pastor.

May 1979 they both joined the staff of United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, Indiana.

Immediate source of acquisition or transfer

Were sent to the MLA possibly around the time of the Gayle Funk paper in 1980. No specific documentation until 1 September 1982.
