The paintings in this collection are by Jacob Sudermann, and they show opulent homes and landscapes from the Chortiza settlement. The sketches are by students of Sudermann, and are contained in a large format sketch book entitled "Pläne und Zeichnungen des ältesten Hauses 1796 in Rosenthal. Ausgeführt vom 1sten Kursus der Chortitzer Tächkurse 1925.” Located in Textual Volume 2206.
