This photo shows Jacob and Trudie Unrau and family on a Sunday afternoon boat ride in their boat called "The Ambassadar." The children are (oldest to youngest): Pat, Hedy, Larry, Mabel and Phyllis.

An excursion by boat

This photo shows Jake Unrau at Matheson Island standing in a motor boat that is docked. There are 15 others with him mainly in the boat that has the name "Ambassador." These people are mostly children, possibly also his wife Trudie . One boy is standing on the dock.

An outing on the Dnieper River-Chortitza Island

This is a photo of a group of men and women from Schoenwiese sitting in a boat on the shores of the Dnieper River. They were on an outing on the first of May with Arthur Slagel, the American Mennonite Relief Worker. On the photograph are the Thiessens, Miss Hamm and Arthur Slagel.
