Papers of a Canadian-born Mennonite missionary who served at the Mennonite Gospel Mission (Toronto, Ont.) (1922-1931) and in Argentina (1931-1949).  Weber also worked for the Mennonite Publishing House as an editor and translator (1950-1961).  HIs papers are divided into several series:

The Mennonite Board of Missions began conducting mission work in Central Argentina in 1917, working to plant churches. In 1943 the organization began working with indigenous churches in Northern Argentina.

The records contain field and financial correspondence from these projects.

Two letters written by a Mennonite missionary family serving in Tres Lomas, Argentina.  In one letter, they express their frustrations and discouragement with the local Catholic priest, their "small weak congregation," and the local "spiritual coldness."  The other letter is more upbeat in tone and recounts both their successes and failures in Tres Lomas.
