This is a photo of Jakob Friesen (1877-1945), pastor since 1904 of the Elbing-Ellerwald congregation. This photo was taken 1933 on Friesen's estate at Pruppendorf near Altfelde, county Marienburg. Friesen died in a refugee camp in Denmark. [HR 19]
