Two photos (2nd one measures 17.5x12.5) show Carl Kauffman from Haven, Kansas supervising a special feeding program for the hungry patients who came to the Nha Trang Hospital where he served with MCC as as all-around handyman an medical assistant at the Nhatrang Evangelical Clinic. The refugees, men, women and children, stand around him waiting their turn to receive food. Carl died on Sept. 12, 1967, on his way to the US after a 3 year term with MCC in Hong Kong and Vietnam. See CM 15-38-1 for a photo of him at work in 1966, taken by Frank H. Epp.
