Two typescripts of a diary kept by a young Amish woman who resided in McLean County (Dry Grove Township) Illinois, near Bloomington.  Yoder, who was confined to her home because of illness, describes in great detail the social life and courtships of her siblings and the day to day activities of her family.  She also reports her opinions of the goings-on in her family and her community as well as her reflections on her illness.

This collections consists mainly of the village books covering the period 1875-1936, with a few gaps. The records record financial affairs of the village such as the levies on village inhabitants. There are also a set of community announcements (1917-1918), contracts with village teachers and shepherds, property transactions and other miscellaneous papers(1881-1904).

Personal and family papers of an (old) Mennonite Church pastor and bishop who served a congregation in Sweet Home, Oregon and was active in the Pacific Coast Mennonite Conference and national church.

These papers are divided into series:

(1) Autobiographical and Genealogical Materials, 1929-2006

(2) Pastoral Records, 1903-1958

(3) Photographs, 1900-1957, undated

The papers were gathered in the process of producing The Peter and Elisabeth (Graber) Kaufman Family Record 1770-1987 (North Newton, KS: Kaufman Genealogy Committee, 1988).

Also included are some records related to reunions of the family.
