Reiterschwadron für den Selbstschutz durch einheimische Volksdeutsche aufgesetellt und durfte von der Wehrmacht nicht an die Front geschickt werden um des Gebiet nicht von Männern zu entblössen. Nach dem Himmler besuch kamen die Reiter organisatorisch zur 8. SS-Kavllerie-Division. Bei der Evakuierung per Treck 1943/44 ritten sie als Bedeckung mit."
