Commerce school students in play "The Wedding"

This is a photo of the students of the Commerce school presenting a play "The Wedding" (Svadjba). The girls of the Chortitza High School used to put on plays. The tickets were sold ahead of time and at 50 cents a piece. But soon a "black market" developed. The boys were suddenly eager for refinement and because of that the tickets sold privately for as much as three dollars a piece. [HR 202]
