Print preview View:

Street-scape. View straight down dirt road.

On right is large square house with a mansard roof (appears to be the house beside village store, still standing in northwest side of Neubergthal's street). Trees and fences show clearly. Single horse pulling buggy is on road coming toward photographer. Good view of a typical Mennonite street village.

Several benches moved in to accommodate those in first row. Children sitting on grass in front of benches. Good clarity. Women in shorter dresses (just below knees). Could be 1930s or '40s.

Appears to be a photograph of a photograph. Three Klippenstein sisters, Anna, Margaretha, and Helena married three Hamm brothers, Johann, Gerhard, and Bernhard. The women are wearing traditional headcoverings. The envelope is clearly meant for a different image. It says "Distant View looking N East from Sand Hill Various negatives."
