Used in CM 8-11-9. The East Chilliwack Mennonite Church choir paid a visit to the Kelowna & Oliver churches. The choir (mostly young people) stand on the steps of one of these churches, called First Mennonite Church.
Used in CM 6-28-4. Negative also which shows more of the building (chapel?) in front of which the retreat leaders are standing. Small photo (9x6.5), dated July 6, 1958. See 14.2437.
Negative also. A.A. Wiens working at his desk. Used in the CM 3-43-6 with art. "Portrait of a Pioneer" about his work as sec. of the B.C. provincial relief com. He was highly regarded by government immigration officials.
The snow and mountains in this photograph are for the traveller a hazard, for the child a fascination, for the photographer a dream, and for the skier a paradise. Used in CM 14-5-1.
