Two MCCers are helping the Council of Churches start this program in Khartoum that will serve displaced people in 14 areas.
This is a photo of a mason in Bangladesh building a low-cost latrine for a family in Saidpur. In the background a simple dwellings made of matting with thatch roofs. In 1983 MCC built and converted more than 400 latrines as part of its Saidpur sanitation program.
