Bearinger School (S.S. no. 25). Teacher James Robertson and pupils pose for a group picture in front of the school. School was located on Bearinger Road, just east of the present-day intersection of Bearinger and Westmount Road. Copied by David L. Hunsberger November 1962.

First schoolhouse in Waterloo with "Indian stones"

Original description: "First schoolhouse in Waterloo and Indian stones at Waterloo Park, Ontario. Photo taken August 1948. Hunsberger photo 84-6." Pictured in front of the log schoolhouse building are two large stones, believed to be a grinding stone and a stone used in fur processing by Indigenous people, found in Waterloo region.
