Used in CM 12-11-4 when he received the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship at the U. of Man. The scholarship gave a stipend of $1,800.00 plus tuition costs. His plans were to use it for graduate studies at an American university.
Date on photo is Feb. 1962. See CM 10-48-1 reporting on his 2 mo. stay in Africa during the summer. At this time he was studying at university in an honors History program. He was from Elm Creek, Man.
