This photo shows a group of conscientious objectors around a large tree stump which they presumably have cut. Some men are standing, while others are lying on the ground. The men include: Cornie Reimer, John Bock, Abe Schelleberg, Jake Dyck, Cornie Doell, E.P. Friesen and Jake Fehr.
A group of nineteen women, some are dressed in the old style dark dresses and some wear more modern clothes, white blouses and skirts.
