50th Wedding Anniversary Family Photo

A full family photo of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Gerhard G. and Justina Epp to commemorate their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Justina and Gerhard G. are sitting in lawn-chairs with their great-grandchildren sitting on either side of them and their children and grandchildren standing behind them. In the back row from left to right: Sharon Hiebner, Florence Epp, Lydia Martin, Emily Watson, Charlotte Lambert, Lora Howard, Gerald Epp and Larry Epp. Ewald Epp and Edwin Schmidt are standing between the two standing between the two rows, behind their respective wives. In the front standing row from left to right: Louise Epp, Gertrude Schmidt, Gerhard W. Epp, Lila Epp, Lillian Epp, Paul W. Epp, Ruth Friesen, Otto Friesen, Frieda Janzen and Jake Janzen.

A new 1963 Fairlane

Two copies of a photograph that shows Gerhard G. and Justina Epp receiving the keys to the new car that was gifted to them on behalf of the Eigenheim Mennonite Church for the forty years of Gerhard's service. Gerhard is receiving the keys from Gerhard Dueck outside of the church where the new car is waiting. Many of the congregation watches the ceremony from the front steps of the church.

Abram and Sarah Driedger Wedding

Abram Driedger, b. 1887, was the son of Johann and Katharina Driedger. He met Sarah Friesen while working at a Rosthern store. They married in Rosthern on October 2, 1910. They took this photo at a studio in Rosthern the day of their wedding.

Abram Driedger and the musical quartet

In 1910 Abram Driedger worked at a store in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. There he met like minded musical friends who played the trombone, violin, and French horn. Abram played the clarinet (top left). The names of the friends are not mentioned. The quartet had their picture taken at a studio in Rosthern.

Used in the CM 2-8-1. Aerial view of the Mennontie Youth Farm which was owned and operated by the Sask. Mennonite Youth Society of the Canadian Conference of Mennonites.
