Made by Ruth Neuschwander's great aunt Malinda (Troyer) Kauffman, late 1800's-early 1900's?; owned by Karen (Neuschwander) Kropf, donated by her daughter Darlene (Kropf) Anderson; February 7, 2019. Photo on display at the 2019 Zion Mennonite Quilt Workshop. Letters with the quilt explain some of its history and the circumstances of its donation to the Ivan & Pearl Kropf Heritage Center.

These were apparently at Merseburg when they were filmed. Presumably they are now in the Geheime Staatsarchiv in Berlin.

The purpose of the Great Lakes Bible Conference was to provide an opportunity for participating groups that included the Brethren in Christ, the Central District of the General Conference Mennonite Church, the Evangelical Mennonite Church, the Illinois, Indiana-Michigan and Ohio Conferences of the Mennonite Church, and the Missionary Church, to study the Bible together. The collection includes minutes, correspondence, brochures, and financial documents.
