These were apparently at Merseburg when they were filmed. Presumably they are now in the Geheime Staatsarchiv in Berlin.
The purpose of the Great Lakes Bible Conference was to provide an opportunity for participating groups that included the Brethren in Christ, the Central District of the General Conference Mennonite Church, the Evangelical Mennonite Church, the Illinois, Indiana-Michigan and Ohio Conferences of the Mennonite Church, and the Missionary Church, to study the Bible together. The collection includes minutes, correspondence, brochures, and financial documents.

Handwritten music by Albert D. Schmutz (this may not belong here but possibly just got stuck in when the papers were cleaned out of the Music Library in the Fine Arts Center in 1993). The 45rpm phonograph record in box 1 may also not belong to Dunkelberger but just come from the Music Library.
These papers consist primarily of manuscripts of Gustav Enss's writings, most of which are theological in nature. Other materials include notes, correspondence, and ephemera. Researchers should note the "Catalog of Gustav H. Enss Papers" in Box 1, Folder 1, which provides some annotations and contextual information.
